This page is a running page, covering the rebuilding of my 1963 Harley-Davidson FLH.
First, how about some pictures:
(click to view them full size)
This is how the bike looked in late 70's, Pimp Daddy-Pink and blue with
chrome everywhere.
The bike was formerly owned by one of the East Bay Dragons in Oakland, CA.
Here's how it looked shortly after I bought it. That's my friend Steve
and my wife (Steve is the one with the beard)
This is how it looked in 1999, just before the tear down on February 4th,
2000.
There's the motor, before I tore it down.
That Black and Decker Workmate is a great engine stand!
There's the frame, freshly powder coated. You can't tell from
the picture, but it's beautiful!
Paintwork is done.
It's starting to look like a bike again! Rolling as of 3/11/00.
Here's the pics from April 8th. Ready to go, except for one
minor thing...
April 24th: i got the engine back together
April 25th, Back in the frame
April 29th, Back together and running great!
That's my boy Nathan after his first ride
on a Panhead.
March 25, 2001: With the solo seat and
a set of gangster whitewall tires! A friend had these tires
on his Kawasaki but thought it made it look too much like an old
Harley. Go figure. He gave them to me and I gave them a good
home.

And especially to my wife, Trisha, who put up with all
the paint and chemical smells,
the air compressor running constantly, all night wrenching
parties
and the giant mess I made in the garage.
